Based on the plans to build new group of buildings for education and cultural heritage conservation in Yangzhou City, Unit Architects has made a proposal with a heritage building, an education building, outdoor sports area, student dormitory and an Yang Opera House. In this proposal everything at this site is focused on the cultural Yang Opera performances, that will be performed in the Opera House. Everything around is simplified and secondary to the opera hall. The inside spaces around the main hall, the outside pavement and even the buildings around are minimized to serve the main red Yang opera hall.
